Well, after Andy's mom got a sweetheart to take our children's individual pictures, I decided (with the help of my trusty sidekick) to try to take a few of the whole clan ... they were too cute to pass this opportunity up!!
Finally... an update from home!! First, I want to thank our dear family and friends who celebrated our homecoming with us :) It was such a joy and special time to share together!!! In my mind... it was perfect! Lily wasn't afraid and we were surrounded by those we love ~ and who love us :)
What a BLESSING!!!!!!!!!!!
Andy's sister did an AWESOME job sharing that day on her blog... so you ought go over there right now and check it out :) Thanks so much Wendy!!!

First of all, let me thank you for your prayerful support to our family while we've been in China. We have certainly been blessed!! Secondly, I would like to apologize for the lack of communication. Only using wireless has been incredibly difficult. I have several more blog posts prepared, but cannot find a way to get them sent out. I could use this e-mail, yes, but then there would be no pictures :( My last few posts took over 1/2 an hour EACH to send out. And after that, I was completely denied... repeatedly.
Anyway, we are getting ready for our last day in Guangzhou... and our long trip home. We are going through various stops and even staying overnight in San Francisco. Lord willing, we will touch down in Bloomington on Friday afternoon @ 4:35 (from Chicago ... fight #?). We want you all to know that anyone who wants to come celebrate Lily's arrival is welcome. However, it will be a big, tiring event for our Lily ... and she is incredibly reserved. So, we would kindly ask anyone who does come to try not to touch her ... with the exception of our close family :) Sorry if that seems harsh, but we want this special time to come with as little stress as possible for our little punkin. And we thank you for your help in making this a tear-free time :)
We can hardly wait to be back on US soil!!!! And see our dear loved ones again ... especially our four troopers who we miss very much!!!!!!!!!!! Just 2 more nights!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
signing off with love from China,
Andy, Erin & Lily Liu
p.s. Providence Church Family: those of you who may be considering traveling a distance to welcome us home, please realize this "celebration" may be short and sweet ... and we hope to see you in church soon!
Whew! I think this is my last post for tonight!! Sorry for the major mass of posts here, but the stars must've finally aligned in my favor ... at least long enough for me to get this done :)
Enjoy!!
We'll post again after we get in Guangzhou. We're leaving tomorrow at noon for a 3 o'clock flight. It's supposed to be a few hours long ... and then, off to the White Swan! Please pray Lily can handle another transition. The sings from today (7.14) are saying it might be rough :(
Love to you all from the 3 of us!!!
